What is this stage?

The organization's first point of contact with

The Briefing Session is the starting point at which the organization first addresses its AI transformation together with EnterpriseAIX.

Its purpose is not to propose a solution or a project. It is to clarify why the organization should put AI transformation on its agenda now, which business outcome it wants to improve, and whether investing in a more detailed assessment makes sense.

The Briefing stage prepares the first decision that both sides make deliberately:

Is there a genuine AI transformation opportunity in the organization? If so, should we move to the Diagnostic stage to clarify where to begin?
Working cadence

How the Briefing stage runs

  1. 01

    Preparation

EnterpriseAIX prepares for the meeting using the organization's sector, line of business and the context shared at the outset. A short Transformation Scan is sent to the organization.

  2. 02

    Briefing Session

A first leadership meeting of roughly 60–90 minutes.

  3. 03

    Briefing Decision Memo

EnterpriseAIX reviews the meeting and the first findings of the Transformation Scan and prepares a short decision memo.

  4. 04

    Diagnostic Decision Session

In this second session of roughly 45–60 minutes, the Diagnostic stage proposal, its scope, outputs, working cadence and investment framework are presented.

Human layer

How visible is AI literacy at this stage?

The Briefing stage gathers the first signals on employee development, AI usage habits and the organization's approach to safe use.

No training or capability program starts at this stage. What the Briefing stage does is make visible, for the Diagnostic stage, which employee groups need AI literacy, at what intensity and toward which transformation goal.

What does the organization gain?

Briefing Decision Memo

At the end of the Briefing stage, EnterpriseAIX shares a short Briefing Decision Memo with the organization. It is not a detailed diagnostic report; it is a leadership document that supports the decision to invest in the Diagnostic stage.

Clarified in the Briefing

  • A shared frame for why AI transformation matters to the organization now.
  • The business outcomes the transformation will serve.
  • High-level observations from the Transformation Scan.
  • A first transformation hypothesis.

Proposal for the Diagnostic stage

  • How the scan findings will be deepened in the Diagnostic stage.
  • Business units and stakeholder groups proposed for the Diagnostic stage.
  • Objectives, scope of work and leadership involvement for the Diagnostic stage.
  • Decision outputs to be delivered at the end of the Diagnostic stage.
  • The transformation path that links the Diagnostic stage to the Proof stage.
  • A recommendation on moving to the Diagnostic stage.
Decision point

What happens if the Briefing stage succeeds?

Success in the Briefing Session does not mean the organization has decided on an AI solution.

Success means the organization clearly understands why it needs the Diagnostic stage, which decision that stage will enable, who should take part and which transformation question it will answer.

At the end of the Briefing stage, leadership has three options:

Move to the Diagnostic stage

Scope, participants and start date are agreed.

Strengthen the conditions, then move to the Diagnostic stage

If priority, leadership ownership or basic readiness is missing, completing these first is recommended.

Hold off on the transformation for now

If the organization's priorities or readiness are not in place, the Diagnostic stage does not begin. That too is a healthy outcome.

Out of scope

What the Briefing stage does not do

  • No detailed AI readiness assessment is carried out.
  • No in-depth interviews are held department by department.
  • No AI Application Opportunities are identified.
  • No AI opportunity is selected and no solution is designed.
  • The technical scope of the Proof stage is not defined.
Commercial terms

Commercial terms of the Briefing stage

The Briefing Session is free of charge. The Transformation Scan is a short, 15-question preliminary exercise that feeds the meeting and takes about 6–8 minutes. It is not used to score the organization's current state; it shows which questions the meeting should explore in depth.

It is free not as a giveaway of detailed work, but so that the organization can weigh the investment in the Diagnostic stage on the right grounds and with clear expectations.

The Briefing stage does not decide whether the organization will work with EnterpriseAIX;it clarifies whether the organization will approach AI transformation with the right questions and the right investment decision.
Next stage

The Briefing stage clarifies why the transformation should be addressed now and where to look. The Diagnostic stage turns that starting hypothesis into an evidence-based decision.
